SFUSD is hiring a K-12 History/Social Studies Supervisor and Teachers on Special Assignment at the Elementary, Middle, and High School Levels.  

SFUSD's High School E/LA course sequence will be shifting over the next three years to better align with History/Social Studies courses.

The 4/29 PD will offer a chance for teachers to learn about the new additions to the recommended reading list.

The 4/29 high school PD will feature a panel of students sharing their ideas for change.

ITOC is an annual three-day professional development to facilitate the growth, success, and retention of teachers of Color in K-12 public schools serving students of Color, with on-going community and continued site-based support. A unique collaboration between the disciplines of Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Ethnic Studies, this national conference rigorously selects approximately 140 ITOC Fellows each summer to cultivate their racial justice leadership capacities.
