All paras are invited to attend on Sept. 27, 3-4 p.m. on Zoom. Paraeducators attending outside of contractual hours can be paid via your 18 PD hours (if you have hours remaining and admin pre-approval) or can attend voluntarily.

The Paraeducator Site-Based Lead Program is designed to enhance ongoing communication for paraeducators and connection amongst paraeducators at their site. One paraeducator representative will be selected to serve as the para contact person for each K-8 and middle school site and will receive an $800-$1000 stipend (based on the number of paraeducators at the site). Apply by Sept. 14 or email for an extension.

Are you a paraeducator looking for opportunities to grow? Beginning Sept. 15, the Professional Learning and Leadership Team offers para coaching for those who want support on their educator journey. 

UASF administrators, apply for a paid microgrant for self-directed learning. The deadline to apply has been extended to Sept. 15.

Apply to the SFUSD Paraeducator Leadership Network: a paid leadership program for paraeducators. Applications are due Friday Sept. 15 at midnight.

The Department of Children, Youth and Their Families (DCYF) and SFUSD want to hear from a diverse group of middle and high school students about youth violence. Students can fill out the interest form by this Saturday (9/16)

The San Francisco Department of Children, Youth, and their Families (DCYF) in partnership with the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is pleased to announce the creation of the Student Success Fund Advisory Council (SSFAC). The SSFAC is a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to actively contribute to the formation, growth and development of the Student Success Fund.

In the Fall of 2023, all K-12 school facilities will be inspected by an independent consultant in compliance with the Williams Settlement Legislation and SARC Reporting. Starting in September, Facilities Inspectors will begin visiting non-Williams Monitoring Schools. They will be visiting all rooms to determine whether the facility is in good repair.

Seeking for paraeducators to assist with childcare at the Enrollment Fair on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The enrollment fair is coming up on Oct. 21, and each school is required to host an information table at the fair and help showcase SFUSD for prospective families. Here's what you can do to get ready!

Second meals are only available from the cafeteria after all students have gotten a chance to choose a meal, and if there are leftovers. Snacks are available for Pre-K students.
