The district does offer a world language placement test to 8th graders who have a background in the language or attended a language class in middle school. However, we advise that students also speak with a language teacher at Incoming 9th Grader Night or the very beginning of the year to more accurately determine which language class to start in that will best serve the student (not excessively easy; not impractically difficult).

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Interested in earning the Seal of Biliteracy on your diploma and fulfilling CSU General Education requirements while in high school? Taking a 4th year level world language course does just that! Check out how to qualify here.
