After School Activities at Flynn

Our all volunteer-run soccer program brings families together both on and off the field. Caregivers can either coach or manage teams (no previous experience needed!) We need at least two parents to field a team. We welcome players at all levels. For beginners, we focus on building basic soccer skills in a supportive, fun environment. For more experienced players, we encourage their growth as athletes and leaders on the team.

Students in TK through 1st grade play in the SF Vikings Microsoccer League, while 2nd through 5th graders compete in the San Francisco Youth Soccer City League. It’s a fun, inclusive way to meet other families, strengthen our community, teach teamwork, and promote good sporting behavior.

Interested in coaching or managing a team? Please email the PTA at lrflynnsf@gmail.com  We’d love to have you join us!

Girl Scouts Link to this section

Flynn is home to a mixed-age Girl Scout troop where students build friendships, develop leadership skills, and have fun through hands-on activities and community engagement. Our troop is run by volunteers and works best when families pitch in—whether it’s helping with meetings, organizing outings, or sharing a skill. We’d love to connect with caregivers who are excited to be part of the co-op spirit that makes our troop thrive. Families of incoming kindergarteners are also welcome to start a new Daisy troop—we’re happy to help you get going!
