Inclusive Schools Weeks provides an opportunity for SFUSD educators and community members to teach students about disabilities AND the intersection of disabilities with other categories of identity, like race, gender, class, cultural heritage, language preference and other differences. 

EMPowerSF will be unavailable from Saturday, Dec. 3 at 12 a.m. to Sunday, Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. due to scheduled maintenance. During this window, you will not be able to use EMPowerSF or Time and Attendance.

The CCEIS (Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services) team members are recruiting Black classified/certificated staff, community-based organizations (affiliated with SFUSD), retirees from SFUSD, AND Parents/Caregivers to be a part of sharing thoughts and solutions that help to interrupt the over-representation of Black students going into Special Education under emotional disturbance and other specific criteria.

Join us Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6-8 p.m. for a virtual webinar about San Francisco's role in the disability rights movement. Learn about the community leaders who started the movement and the new generation moving things forward today!

Over the weekend of Nov. 18th, the district successfully migrated Synergy to the cloud. As a result, you may experience difficulty logging in to the mobile app. Get instructions on how to troubleshoot.

As of Monday, Nov. 28, the Typing Club app is now available for all 2nd-12th grade students in order to practice and improve their typing skills.

Effective Jan. 1, 2023, Document Publishing and Distribution Center (DPDC) will increase about 5% of all the current printing prices for all different categories, as we have not increased our prices for many years.

This is an ELAC Election year, and ELAC Rosters are due.

SFUSD paraeducators, register to attend the Winter Paraeducator Conference on Dec. 10. You can use your paid PD hours!

SFUSD has already provided Certificate of Insurance information to the Chinese New Year Parade sponsor, so your site does not need to worry about obtaining insurance for participating. Also note that permission forms aren't needed for participation.

Aflac has new new group plans for San Francisco Unified School District employees.

The SMART+ program is an academic and enrichment program for underrepresented middle school students, informed by project-based, experiential learning activities with the goal of helping students learn and apply STEAM-based lessons to real-world settings and situations.

BridgeWhiz is a free online course designed to teach students in grades 4 through 12 the mind-building challenge, great fun, and competitive excitement of contract bridge, which will nurture your child’s team and individual competitive spirit.

The Randall Museum is excited to host the San Francisco Middle School Science fair again this school year. We are returning to an in-person showcase and competition with an awards day to celebrate our amazing young scientists!
