The San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators (SFABSE) invites African American high school SFUSD seniors who will graduate by June 2023 to participate in its scholarship program.

The San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators presents its 28th Annual African American Honor Roll celebration & 19th Community Awards Ceremony hybrid. In 2023, all SFUSD students of African American descent in Grades 3-12 who have earned a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher (1st Semester 2022) will be honored for their academic achievement.

COLOR self-swab test kits will continue to be available through the end of March 2023. These are not rapid test kits, but RT-LAMP testing that requires submitting a swab sample to be tested in a clinical lab.

The weekly Family Announcements Bulletin (FAB) is on Fall Break and will not be sent to families on Nov. 24. FAB will resume on Dec. 1.

The NEW VASA High School Certificate Pathway is a collaboration between the SFUSD Fa’a Sāmoa Initiative, SFUSD NHPI Programming, SFUSD College and Career Readiness, CCSF VĀSĀ (Oceania) Student Success Program, Critical Pacific Islands & Oceania Studies, and the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies.
