Kristin came to this role after working as a classroom teacher for nine years, a school leader for eight years, and the Director and then Executive Director for Leadership Development in SFUSD for eight years. A strong believer in educator and leader pipelines, she brings to Human Resources a deep belief in the power of employee support and development -- to improve employees' skills in serving students and families, to deepen equity consciousness, and to enable employees to expand and grow as a retention strategy. She is a lifelong learner and educator, committed to contributing to improved results for students and families long under-served by public school districts.
