Hello, my name is Rebecca Lo. I am the RSP Para at CIS for over 10 years. It is my pleasure to work with CIS students and all the staffs.

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Hong Kong, where I was educated at an all girls Cantonese school. After I immigrated with my family to San Francisco, I started to learn English so I understand the challenge of learning a second language. Even though it was a struggle, I am grateful that I learned it and use both languages everyday.

I have three daughters who also speak both Cantonese and English. When they were young, I raised them to speak Cantonese at home. Once they started kindergarten, they would learn English at school and share what they learned with me. Now that they are all grown up, we enjoy the fact that we can communicate with one another and others in the world fluently with two languages. I believe it's a very valuable skill to learn a new language, especially when you are young.

I am excited to work with all the students at Chinese Immersion School and see a lot of potential in the children everyday.
