MLK Families,

I hope this message finds you well. All of the teachers and staff at MLK miss seeing our students!

Schools will stay closed through at least May 1st. This means that it will become more important that students check their email everyday for communication from teachers and Student Support. 

Student Support will be using Google Classroom for communication with students, as well as a place to provide important wellness resources and support for students and families.

Please ensure that your student adds the Student Support Google Classroom so they can stay in communication with their counselors, our social worker, and the school nurse. See the instructions below:

How to add the Student Support Google Classroom

1. Have your child Click this link (or go to their google classroom app in their phone)
2. Click the “+” symbol in the upper right corner to join a class
3.  Enter the class code: ityq4ax.

Although the school building is closed, Student Support is still working to support students and families. If your student needs to talk to a counselor about anything, or a family need arises that we can assist with, go to the Student Support Google Classroom to request a virtual meeting with a Student Support staff member, or contact directly by email, phone, or text using the Contact Information document in the Google Classroom.
