We're excited to announce that February 28th - March 4th will be Healthy Sleep Week! This is a week our Mission Leadership students have planned to help students improve their sleep habits, after it was mentioned that students are often sleepy/sleep-deprived throughout the week.

Here is an overview of Healthy Sleep Week activities:

Daily Activities

  • Daily Pajama Day - students can wear PJ's every day!
  • Raffle

  • Raffle tickets provided to any students who are wearing PJ’s (prizes listed further below)

Tuesday

  • Advisory: Sleep Bingo (activity + instructions will be sent prior to your advisories)

Wednesday

  • Schoolwide Guided Meditation at 10am over intercom

Thursday

  • Advisory: Video promoting healthy sleep

  • No Homework Night

    • Students do not receive homework this night to allow for a healthy night’s sleep

Friday

  • Lunch: Food Sale / Music

  • Students bring stuffed animal to school to receive free pizza at food sale

  • Raffle winners announced; winners receive (examples):

  • Weighted Blanket, Pillow, Diffuser, Sleep mask, Blanket Hoodie, Stuffed Animals, White Noise machine, Ear plugs, Neck Pillow
