I hope everyone is doing well. I want to remind you that it is time to complete applications for high school. The process is being completed on ParentVue. If you need support with the application process, you can contact EPC at 415-241-6085. You can also set up a virtual appointment time with EPC at this link.

If the address is the same, then you only need parent picture id and no proof of address. If a continuing SFUSD student, you do not need student proof of birth. If you do not include what is needed, your application will be DENIED.

Be sure to list a minimum of five schools in preference order on your application.

You can pick up a paper copy from the SFUSD lobby at 555 between 8-4:30. You can drop it off there as well, but you must include the documents with it. It will be denied if everything is not turned in at one time. There is no confirmation when dropped off! This means you should register online so you get confirmation. They do not know when your application would be processed if done on paper. You will not have any proof it was turned in unless you do it online. How to enroll video.

Charter schools require a separate application. Contact the charter for assistance. SOTA requires two applications. The regular SFUSD and a separate SOTA. The SOTA deadline is much earlier than SFUSD.

There is an important meeting for any student that is applying to SOTA. This meeting is Thursday, this week, at 4pm. You can find the zoom link in the Google Classroom. You can email me and I will send it to you if you prefer.
Students that have said they want to apply to SOTA have been sent the link.

Information is here! You must sign up for a meeting on November 13th. Read the slides and be sure to do so. There are requirements and deadlines for the application process. Also, remember that there are two applications that need to be completed. When you complete the regular SFUSD one, list SOTA as your first choice but include your other top choices as well. You will need to have at least 5 choices in order of preference. Applications are available online on November 26th.
Please let me know if you are interested in applying. I want to be sure I keep you in the loop if you are planning to apply. I am happy to speak with you now about the process and what to expect. I do want to clarify some things before you complete the SOTA application. Keep checking the High School GC for a zoom meeting link to review the details and answer any questions. This will be December 3rd, Thursday at 4pm. A representative from SOTA Admissions will be presenting.
