My educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that understanding the student and developing relationships are the foundations of effective instruction. My students know that I care about them both as people and as learners. With such a diverse population, it is crucial that I understand who they are, where they come from and what their needs are.


 

ELD Department

 

English Learner Proficiency Assessment of California (ELPAC):This is a California state test for all English Learner students to assess their English skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The score ranges from 1-4. It occurs each year in February/March.
