ELD Department
English Learner Proficiency Assessment of California (ELPAC):This is a California state test for all English Learner students to assess their English skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The score ranges from 1-4. It occurs each year in February/March.
Reclassification: Reclassification is when a student meets all 4 criteria to be considered English Fluent Proficient. They no longer need to take ELD classes. The 4 criteria are as follows:
