SFUSD is inviting families of 9th grade students currently enrolled in Ethnic Studies to share feedback through a short, anonymous survey open December 3–19.
San Francisco CalFresh recipients received a letter from the San Francisco Health Services Agency (SFHSA) with information about a one-time emergency prepaid grocery card from GiveCard to help buy food during the government shutdown. Activate their grocery card by December 31, 2025.
Some SFUSD families who were eligible for SUN Bucks did not receive their card in June. If your child was actively enrolled between July 1, 2024 and September 2, 2025, they may still receive their SUN Bucks card in the next mailing, expected in January or February 2026 (please note: delivery is not guaranteed).
Bring the whole family to the 3rd Annual Winter Literacy, Math & Science Fair on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, from 11AM to 2PM at César Chávez Elementary School.
Enjoy fun literacy, math, and science games and activities, pick out free books to take home for holiday reading, and join parent workshops on how to support learning at home.
