California Department of Education support for the National Board Certification Journey

In November 2022, the San Francisco community came together and approved Proposition G, also known as the Student Success Fund (SSF). Working with District leaders and our partners at the Department of Children, Youth, and their Families (DCYF), we are pleased to announce that the initiative will be launched in the coming days.

The second voluntary transfer period of the year is now in effect (Thursday April 27 - Friday, May 12, 2023). This is a reminder to support you in your job search as a valued SFUSD teacher/employee during this voluntary transfer period.

Environmental Solutionary Teacher Fellowship: join this year’s cohort NOW! SFUSD partners with The San Mateo County Office of Education to co-host the Environmental Solutionary Teacher Fellowship (ESTF).

Students with SFUSD Chromebooks or hotspots should keep their devices until they graduate or otherwise leave SFUSD. Students who are changing from one SFUSD school to another do not return their devices. Only students who are graduating or otherwise leaving SFUSD should return their Chromebooks and hotspots to their school sites.
