Student Nutrition Services will be celebrating Earth Day by amplifying our sustainability efforts! On Earth Day, April 22nd, SFUSD School Sites will use compostable forks. We’re excited about the collective impact of reducing our plastic waste by roughly 40,000 forks, and we need your help for this to be successful!

Synergy will be offline on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to Thursday, April 24th at 2:00 a.m. for regularly scheduled monthly maintenance.

SFUSD will discontinue its individualized reclassification process for English Learners (ELs) with disabilities to comply with new California Department of Education (CDE) guidelines. All students, including those with IEPs, must meet the same statewide reclassification criteria, including ELPAC cut scores. IEP teams can participate in the reclassification process, but must follow state criteria.

While San Francisco lights up in June with Pride events, our schools get a head start. Every April for over 30 years we have joyfully celebrated SFUSD Pride month. This year’s theme is: We Are the Change!

Grade TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards (SBRCs) will be open on April 14, and must be saved in Synergy by May 21. Principals use the 2024-25 SBRC Trimester Timeline & Guidance to facilitate completion of TK-5 Standards-Based Report Cards (SBRCs) by the dates indicated.
