The SFUSD Payroll Department has published the 2025 Holiday Payroll Calendar that will be in effect this holiday season. Please review the information so that you are aware of the important payroll dates.
SFUSD schools will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 2 for Winter Break. Schools will reopen on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. SFUSD offices will also be closed to the public for in-person services from Dec. 22 through Jan. 2.

This change will go into effect as a result of a new federal income tax deduction for Qualified Overtime Compensation (QOC) as defined in One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) act of 2025.
