Every school should have designated staff trained to recognize symptoms of severe allergy (anaphylaxis), to administer an EpiPen (epinephrine auto-injector), and to be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Designated staff must voluntarily agree to be an anaphylaxis responder.
