The San Francisco Department of Children, Youth, and their Families (DCYF) in partnership with the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is pleased to announce the creation of the Student Success Fund Advisory Council (SSFAC). The SSFAC is a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to actively contribute to the formation, growth and development of the Student Success Fund.

In the Fall of 2023, all K-12 school facilities will be inspected by an independent consultant in compliance with the Williams Settlement Legislation and SARC Reporting. Starting in September, Facilities Inspectors will begin visiting non-Williams Monitoring Schools. They will be visiting all rooms to determine whether the facility is in good repair.
Construction is underway on Shirley Chisholm Village, a new affordable housing development that will prioritize SFUSD educators and employees. Applications are expected to be available in early 2024. Facilities staff will be bringing posters and flyers to schools and administrative sites.
