The Department of Technology continues to distribute emergency flip phones to school sites. These emergency flip phones are for emergency use only. Submit a ticket to schedule a pick up if your site has not received one already, and for sites with an emergency flip phone, make sure to check the phone is working and is fully charged.

Register now for next week's Para Institute (Aug. 10-11)! Attend paid (Zoom) workshops of your choosing to support your learning needs as a paraeducator in SFUSD. You do not need to attend all day or both days - you can pick and choose what to attend! Just track your hours of attendance for pay.

We are excited to announce the re-launch of our Furniture Exchange Program! The Furniture Exchange Program facilitates the exchange of furniture between schools with surplus furniture and schools looking for furniture.

In the fall of 2023, starting on the first day of school, all K-12 school facilities will be inspected by an independent consultant in compliance with the Williams Settlement Legislation and SARC Reporting. The inspectors will be visiting all rooms to determine whether the facility is in good repair. This year, facility inspections will be conducted by California School Inspections.

The month of August will bring us back to school. Get some resources from BALANCE on back to school shopping and teaching youth smart money habits. BALANCE provides SFUSD employees free financial coaching resources.

The Family Announcements Bulletin (FAB) will resume publication on Thursday, Aug. 3.

The Clerical Institute, an annual back-to-school professional development for all clerical employees, will take place on Friday, Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Zoom.

Synergy will be offline starting Wednesday, July 26 at 6 p.m. to Thursday, July 27 at 3 a.m. for routine maintenance.
