Strike has ended with a Tentative Agreement between the District and UESF; today is a transition day for UESF employees, other staff report as usual, and Red Rover absence logging reopens at noon with strike-related absences to be processed by the District. You will be able to log absences, including vacation, sick time, and floating holidays from today forward, including for Lunar New Year.
SFUSD has reached a tentative agreement with UESF. All SFUSD schools and work sites are open to staff only on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 as a transition day. SFUSD schools will reopen to all students and resume normal operations on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
Please be advised that schools will be closed to students for instruction on Friday, February 13. Regular work hours remain in effect, and staff redeployment assignments for the week of Monday, Feb. 9 remain in effect.
