This is the annual reminder to site administrators regarding the Procurement Department’s deadlines for submission of FY 23-24 general requisitions. The information including the dates can be found at Deadlines for Submitting FY 23-24 General Requisitions linked in this announcement.

In an effort to establish a deeper understanding of the contract process, Procurement will provide training opportunities as indicated below. The Superintendent is expecting at least one member from your school or department to attend one training (because all training within the current month is the same). The person who drafts the contract needs to be in attendance.

We know that finding affordable, stable housing is a challenge for our educators and employees. In order to develop a housing strategy that is responsive to staff needs, the District is collecting information on employee housing preferences through a brief online survey.

The deadline to apply for affordable rental housing at Shirley Chisholm Village is April 23rd at 5:00pm. Applications for housing can be submitted through DAHLIA, the San Francisco Mayor's Office of Housing (MOHCD) Housing Portal.

District-wide events celebrating LGBTQ+ pride.

In 2024, GIRLFLY will return to the Tenderloin and CounterPulse in San Francisco, where we’ll explore the intersections between gender justice and living unhoused. The curriculum will combine aerial dance making via suspended steel beds and performance with an activist curriculum that explores current solutions to housing shortages.
