SFUSD’s Student, Family & Community Support and Curriculum & Instruction divisions have  produced a   Gender Inclusive Language guidance document to support all staff to use language in a way that is free of gender bias including: 

Disciplinary Procedure and Manifestation Determination Guidance for students with IEP or students with suspected disability.

Guidance on who can access student Individual Education Program (IEP) information in the brown folder. Included in the memo is the school's obligation to provide and implement the student's IEP.

Special Education Services no longer stocks new brown folders and supplies. Open the link to find supply details and links to forms. Contact your cohort supervisor and/or content specialist with any questions.
