October is Filipino American History Month. Kababayan - SFUSD (Filipinx/o/a identifying educators) celebrates Filipinx American History Month by highlighting the diversity, brilliance and beauty of the Filipinx community.

K-6th grade + high school history-social studies educators are invited to participate in this paid ($800 stipend) pilot study of materials selected for piloting by the History-Social Studies Curriculum Review Committee that met this past June.

All SFUSD paraeducators are invited to the October 25 Paraeducator PD to learn about the IEP Family Handbook.

The 2nd Annual Native American Heritage Celebration is taking place on Nov. 4 at Sanchez Elementary. Join us to understand, learn and enjoy Native American cultural, knowledge and community. Please RSVP at the link.
