As we are fast approaching the summer, we would like to share some important information and updates about the 2025 summer and 2025-26 school year permits.

As we are fast approaching the summer, we would like to share some important information and updates about 2025 Summer & 2025-2026 School Year Permits.

Due to limited staff, we are unable to fully service the inter-district mail routes regularly. Starting February 3rd, 2025.

To ensure that our custodial department has sufficient time to complete a thorough cleaning of our school sites before the first day of school for the 2025-26 school year on Aug. 18, SFUSD will be enforcing a blackout period between July 21st and August 17th. During the blackout period, sites will not be available for use or rental except as outlined in the table in this announcement.

We have now prepared for the annual pickup of outdated Cumulative Guidance Records from your school by the SFUSD warehouse staff.

Get Involved Outside the School.

The Department of Elections (DOE) has sent notices directly to sites to let site principals and administrators know that their site has been identified as a polling site for the Nov. 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election.

SFUSD is looking for new members for its Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee, which provides essential oversight for the Bond Program. Interested members of the community can fill out a short application by November 1st. For more detailed information and to learn more about CBOC, please visit SFUSD’s Bond Program website.
