SF Public Library’s Tech Week is May 7-13! Choose from multiple in-person and virtual events, designed for learners of all ages, that can spark your curiosity and help you better succeed with the technology important to your life and career.

Only students who are graduating or otherwise leaving SFUSD should return their Chromebooks and hotspots to their school sites.

Join us for a wonderful chance to unite with your community and family in service projects to enhance the school's appearance and greenery to benefit students and the entire community! 

To our colleagues, families, students, and community members, enjoy a festive evening with live music and dinner as we celebrate SFABSE Scholarship Recipients and SFUSD Retirees hosted by the San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators!

A group of Black educators from San Francisco shared the vision of prioritizing education for all children, especially Black children, and created a coalition for Black educators to exchange ideas and techniques in June 1977. June 2023 marks 46 years that this organization has hosted these educational programs for African American/Black students, educators, and families in the San Francisco Unified School District. I invite you to join SFABSE efforts by volunteering and becoming a member.

Congratulations! The City and County of San Francisco opens a college savings account with $50 for SFUSD students. If you are a senior graduating in 2023, Kindergarten to College (K2C) wants you to claim your money for college before August 2023. You may have saved personal contributions and additional incentives awarded by K2C as well.

Students with SFUSD Chromebooks or hotspots should keep their devices until they graduate or otherwise leave SFUSD. Students who are changing from one SFUSD school to another do not return their devices. Only students who are graduating or otherwise leaving SFUSD should return their Chromebooks and hotspots to their school sites.

For one week each year, Bay Area high school students take over KQED’s radio, TV and digital platforms to tell their stories and create intergenerational connections between local youth and the adults in their communities.
