Serving grades 1-6, Wah Mei Summer Camp is a bilingual Chinese/English enrichment program offered from June 9 to August 15, with program hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

With the Jan. 31 enrollment application deadline for the 2025-26 school year approaching, SFUSD is offering more ways for families to get support and/or submit an application on time.

SFUSD teachers administer Star assessments (https://bit.ly/SFStarPlan) in grades 8-10 from Jan 13- Feb 7, and in grades K-7 from Jan 27-Feb 21. Resources and reports are available to support planning, administration, and analysis.

Completed Grade TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards (SBRCs) must be saved in Synergy by February 19. Teachers use TK-5 SBRC Teacher Guides at bit.ly/SBRCTeacherGuides to support the scoring of report cards, and communicate how students are making progress toward end-of-year standards. Translated Report Card resources are available for families at https://sfusd.edu/reportcards.

Beginning with next week's edition of OASIS, employee announcement managers need to submit announcements by Wednesday 5 p.m. for items to be included in that Thursday’s OASIS Employee Announcements email to all staff.

This summer, the San Francisco Math Circle is offering weeklong day camps (9am-3pm, with optional morning and afternoon extended care) at San Francisco State University for rising 3rd-6th grade students.

The Youth Art Exchange offers youth and community arts programming in San Francisco, including free high school after school classes. Register now for the spring session and attend an orientation on Feb. 5.

Description: Participants dive into what is often the most exciting – and most daunting – phase for teachers in the inquiry process: preparing students to take action to apply their learning. They consider the purpose and value of informed action and explore the Landmark Lessons that pivot an Inquiry from investigation to action.
