The Test Support program, led by the Department of Educator Development, is at the forefront of offering SFUSD teachers complimentary access to Study.com. This initiative enables educators to prepare for exams such as CBEST, CSET, CTEL, and RICA.

Participants dive into what is often the most exciting – and most daunting – phase for teachers in the inquiry process: preparing students to take action. They consider the purpose and value of informed action and explore the Landmark Lessons that pivot an Inquiry from investigation to action.

All middle and high school teachers are welcome to attend this PD to learn about how to use podcasting in the classroom to creatively uplift student voices.

This Deliberative Discourse protocol provides a structured approach that encourages students to examine issues: from multiple angles, look for commonality, and clarify areas of conflict among affected parties.

Podcasting uplifts youth voice by providing students with a platform to share their perspectives, tell their stories, and engage in meaningful discussions on issues that matter to them. Come join us for a podcasting tutorial for teachers that you can then bring back to your students!

To ensure that our custodial department has sufficient time to complete a thorough cleaning of our school sites before the first day of school for the 2025-26 school year on Aug. 18, SFUSD will be enforcing a blackout period between July 21st and August 17th. During the blackout period, sites will not be available for use or rental except as outlined in the table in this announcement.
