Principal's Message

Dear Longfellow Elementary School Staff and Families,

It is an honor to continue at Longfellow Elementary School as your principal for the 2025–2026 school year. Over the past year, I have come to love the Longfellow community and am excited to continue my leadership here. This will be my 23rd year in education, and I have had the privilege of serving students and families as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal in both SFUSD and Oakland. Across all of these roles, my focus has remained on supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth by building strong connections and collaborating with staff, families, and community partners.

I bring with me a lifelong passion for learning, having earned degrees from UC San Diego, the University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, and the University of Texas at Austin. I look forward to continuing to learn from each of you as we work together to ensure that our students thrive. To our Longfellow students, I encourage you to enjoy a summer full of play, reading, and time with family and friends. My door is always open, and I welcome your input and partnership as we keep students at the center of our work. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together in the year ahead.
