Assistant Superintendent of High Schools

Bill W. Sanderson

Since 2014, Bill Sanderson has served as the Assistant Superintendent of High Schools in SFUSD.  In his role, he works with a team of leaders to provide support to our high school programs and programs in our county schools.  Mr. Sanderson came to SFUSD in 2003 as a teacher at Phillip and Sala Burton High School. He has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and Executive Director in SFUSD.  Prior to his role in SFUSD, he served as a middle school teacher and Principal in Charleston, SC. He brings to SFUSD almost 30 years of experience in public education.
