Tinkering School, a local experimental education nonprofit, has opened registration for 2 day a week after school programs for students age 8 to 14.
Students in these programs will spend 4,6, or 8 weeks (2 hours per session) building projects they design using real power tools. Tinkering School believes that all kids are more capable than they themselves know. Tinkering at tinkering school builds critical thinking and team work skills, as well as design and engineering skills.
