SFUSD continues to follow current California Department of Public Health guidance for preventing and managing COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses in school settings. Schools should use CDPH's Child Symptom Guidance when determining whether a student who is sick should remain at school or be sent home.

There is an upcoming deadline to submit the Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF) for the data to impact school site funding for the 2027-28 SY. We need your help to get each school site at 100% submissions by October 1.

The annual housing survey is essential in identifying students experiencing housing transitions, instability, and homelessness who qualify for McKinney-Vento support and making sure they know their educational rights.
