Transition to Adulthood Series: An Overview of San Francisco Unified School District’s (SFUSD) Special Education Access Program for Students Aged 18-22

What transition programming does San Francisco Unified School District offer for students with disabilities who are not on track to finish high school with a degree?

Come learn more about the district’s community based Access program for students with disabilities aged 18-22 that is focused on vocational skills, self-help skills, health and safety skills, social and communication skills, creative expression, self-advocacy, transportation skills, volunteering and increasing independence.

Workshop attendees will leave with an understanding of the program application process/deadlines, the variety of opportunities available to program participants and a sense of program outcomes
