SFUSD Inclusive Arts Showcase

Did your students create art or writing projects for Inclusive Schools Week? If so, please complete the Inclusive Arts Showcase Google Form so we can highlight our student's work across the district!

We are accepting submissions of visual and performing arts—including paintings, sketches, photography, song, dance, music, spoken word, creative writing and more. Use the theme as your inspiration!

This showcase is open to all students to share what unity within our community looks and feels like for them.  It can be related to their disability, gender, socio-economic status, cultural heritage, language preference or other unique trait that they would like to share. If you have a previous piece of work that you would like to share that fits within this theme, please feel free to share that too.

The showcase will be displayed on a public website.  We can accept photos (JPG etc.), scans (PDF), audio files (MP4 etc.) and video clips (.mov etc.).  We can also embed YouTube links.

By submitting work via this form, you are consenting to having the work featured in the virtual showcase (public website). Artwork may also be used through out the year by the Special Education Department or the CAC for Special Education. See below for additional media release information (name, grade, school).

Inclusive Schools Week Pictures

Did your school do something really special for Inclusive Schools Week? Please share pictures from events and activities with Charlotte Tresslar at tresslarc@sfusd.edu so we can highlight and celebrate your inclusive events all year round.

Thank You

Many thanks to all the staff, parents and community partners who contributed to making this year's events such a huge success. Inclusive Schools Week is a powerful tool in building and increasing students' sense of belonging in their community, and we look forward to continuing our celebration of inclusion beyond this week.
