Going forward, students will only be able to use the “Sign in with Google” option on district-approved websites and apps that have this feature.
All other websites and apps that a student attempts to log into will get a restricted message. This is to prevent students from sharing their data with sites and apps that have no clear academic purpose and/or do not meet district data privacy requirements.
If there is a website that staff would like students to sign into with Google, please submit a help desk ticket to be reviewed for data safety.
