The 2025-26 Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF) is available online. Here’s what you need to know!
What is the MFIF, and why does it matter?
The MFIF is the income form that supports school funding for all TK-12 schools. The form collects family income information that helps determine financial need of the school community. Even if your family doesn’t meet the income qualifications, it’s important to still submit the MFIF to help us keep the most accurate information possible and help fund school programs.
Please note: A MFIF submission is not required for students to get free meals. Meals are free for all students regardless of income. 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, and 1 Supper every day at no cost to students.
How to Submit the MFIF:
-
Parents/Guardians can submit the MFIF online in 5 minutes at sfusd.edu/mfif.
That webpage has resources and links to help, including: MFIF Quick Guide
- If a parent/guardian needs help, a school site staff member (Secretary, Parent Liaison, School Impact Coordinator, or other support staff) can help walk them through the application or fill it out on their behalf.
Your school site should have designated one or more staff members as MFIF support, so please reach out to your school site if you have any questions. For login or password support, please chat SchoolCafe.com or call 866.442.6030 option 2 for parents.
We look forward to a great school year together.
