Winter Break Resources for Students & Families Experiencing Homelessness

Winter Break 2025 (12/19/25 - 1/5/26) can be a difficult time for students and families experiencing homelessness and/or housing insecurity, especially those that access vital services and resources in schools. Below are some resources that can be shared with students and families while schools are closed:

• 8th Annual Tenderloin People's Holiday Tree Lighting at Boeddeker Park (246 Eddy Street) on Friday, December 12 from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Winter Craft Day at the Randall Museum (199 Museum Way) on Saturday, December 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Jingle on the Way at Sunset Dunes & Judah Street on Saturday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Holiday Craft Fair at the Harvey Milk Center for the Arts (50 Scott Street) on Sunday, December 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Holiday Youth Meal Night & Cookie Decorating at SF LGBT Center, Dec. 18, 4:30p-7:30p
• Daily activities and classes at the Civic Center Plazas
• Free Holiday Programming in Union Square (333 Post Street) from Thursdays to Sundays through January 18
• Weekend programming at the Randall Museum (199 Museum Way)
