Announcement Message

The San Francisco Department of Elections is excited to announce the opening of its Spring 2026 San Francisco High School Elections Ambassador program:

  • Applications are available at the High School Student Programs webpage at sf.gov/high-school-student-programs-info.
  • During the two-week program, the student ambassadors conduct outreach events in their schools and communities, encouraging their friends and classmates to pre-register to vote and sharing information on youth civic engagement opportunities.
  • The program is open to all San Francisco high school students, 9th - 12th grade.

All interested students must attend the orientation workshop on April 2nd:

  • At the workshop, the students will receive all the information and materials they need to create their outreach plans and successfully conduct registration events.
  • At the end of the program, we will host a Celebration Ceremony at City Hall to thank the students for all their efforts.
  • Each student ambassador will receive a Participation Certificate signed by the Mayor of San Francisco.

Monday, April 13- Friday, April 24, 2026
