Announcement Message

The Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families (DCYF) is making the Student Success Fund - Rapid Response Fund Grants of up to $25,000 available to all SFUSD school sites.

These are flexible funds set aside for emergency needs, discrete problem-solving, and emergent strategies. Click here for more information about the Student Success Fund or go to https://www.dcyf.org/ssf.

Rapid Response Funds are designed to support short-term needs and cannot be used to fund ongoing positions or core staffing positions. Funds can be used for one-time purchases or professional service contracts for short-term/one-time needs such as professional development, speakers for school-wide assemblies, and/or wellness supplies, etc. 

ELIGIBILITY: ALL SFUSD school sites that ARE NOT recipients of a Student Success Fund Readiness OR Implementation Grants are eligible to apply. 

Charter schools that are approved under SFUSD are also eligible to apply. 

AWARD AMOUNT: Sites can apply for up to $25,000.
