There are only two weeks left to participate in the 2026 CleanPowerSF Climate and Clean Energy High School Video and Writing Contest, themed “Powering San Francisco’s Future.” Deadline to enter the contest: Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

This contest is a collaboration between the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and the San Francisco Kindergarten to College (K2C) program.

High school students across the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and SFUSD-affiliated charter schools are invited to submit videos, poems, or persuasive speeches.

🎥 Students can create a short video, poem or persuasive speech about how clean energy, through programs like CleanPowerSF, can help fight climate change in San Francisco.

💰 80 Winners will be recognized citywide and will receive a $500 scholarship each toward their postsecondary education through San Francisco’s Kindergarten to College (K2C) program.
