Announcement Message

Report cards for SFUSD grades 6–12 are moving exclusively to ParentVUE starting Fall 2026, streamlining communication and connecting you directly to your student's daily progress.

This move aligns our secondary schools with current elementary practices and responds to the growing number of families already opting for paperless communication. Effective Fall 2026, report cards for all SFUSD secondary schools (Grades 6–12) will be offered exclusively via ParentVUE.

By moving away from centralized printing and mailing, we are ensuring that student data remains secure and that families have immediate access to academic progress without the lag of traditional mail.

Benefits to School Sites

This approach encourages families to use ParentVUE as a "one-stop shop" for:

  • Attendance: Families can now submit absence notifications directly, reducing front-office phone volume.
  • Real-Time Data: Access to CAASPP/STAR scores and daily assignments helps facilitate more informed parent-teacher conferences.
  • Multi-Student View: Simplifies communication for families with students across multiple SFUSD sites.

School-Level Action Items

To ensure a smooth transition, we are asking site administrators and staff to prioritize the following:
