Lunar New Year presents an opportunity to reflect on the past while looking ahead to new beginnings. This year, we enter the Year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and resilience. It’s a reminder that every year offers a chance for personal growth and reinvention.

W-2 forms have been processed and mailed on January 29, 2025. Please allow up to 10 working days to receive them via USPS. An electronic copy of your W-2 will also be available on EmPower on February 1, 2025.

Any student in Grades K-5 can participate in the annual Oral Health Poster Contest. Submissions are due by March 21, 2025.

National School Counseling Week 2025 (#NSCW25) is Feb. 3-7, 2025. Please take some time during the week to recognize and celebrate the school counselors at your site.

Completed Grade TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards (SBRCs) must be saved in Synergy by February 19. Teachers use TK-5 SBRC Teacher Guides at bit.ly/SBRCTeacherGuides to support the scoring of report cards, and communicate how students are making progress toward end-of-year standards. Translated Report Card resources are available for families at https://sfusd.edu/reportcards.
