Teacher Professional Development through NGPF is offered in various formats to cater to different needs and preferences.

The topics covered in these virtual sessions include:

  • Buying Real Estate After High School
  • The Math Behind Credit
  • Minimizing Student Loans

2. On-Demand: This format consists of 1-hour modules that teachers can access at their convenience. These modules are designed to strengthen teachers' knowledge on Personal Finance. The topics covered in these modules include:

  • The Rise of Influencer Marketing
  • Career Exploration Tools
  • Banking in the 21st Century

3. Certification Courses: NGPF offers Certification Courses, which are the most in-depth professional development format. These courses combine 9 hours of live virtual sessions focused on a specific core personal finance content area, followed by a 1-hour exam. The content covered in these courses aligns with the NGPF Semester Course but uses different resources to deepen teachers' content knowledge without repetition. The best part is that these courses are completely free.

The topics covered in the Certification Courses include:

  • Behavioral Economics
  • Banking
  • Investing
  • Types of Credit
  • Managing Credit
  • Paying for College
  • Career
  • Insurance
