New Student and Family Orientation 

Dear MLK Families,

Welcome to the new school year! We are so excited to invite you and your child to MLK’s New Student Orientation on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

This is a wonderful opportunity for new students and families to explore the campus, pick up class schedules, and meet our MLK staff before the first day of school.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026

• Time: Starts at 11:00 AM

• Location: MLK Middle School, 350 Girard St., San Francisco, CA 94134

We can't wait to see you there and officially welcome you into our MLK community! Please see the attached flyer for more details.

If you cannot attend Saturday 08/15, MLK MS will repeat New Student Orientation assembly for all new to MLK MS students and their families on the first day of school. Students and their parents/guardians should report to the cafeteria at 9:30am on 8/17 for the assembly, which will conclude at 10:30am.

如果您無法參加 8 月 15 日星期六的活動，MLK 中學將在開學第一天為所有 MLK 中學新生及其家長再次舉辦新生入學指導大會。學生及其家長/監護人請於 8 月 17 日上午 9:30 到食堂參加大會，大會將於上午 10:30 結束。

Estimadas familias de MLK:

¡Bienvenidos al nuevo año escolar! Estamos muy emocionados de invitarlos a usted y a su hijo/a a la Orientación para Nuevos Estudiantes de MLK el sábado, 15 de agosto de 2026.

Esta es una oportunidad maravillosa para que los nuevos estudiantes y sus familias exploren el plantel escolar, recojan sus horarios de clases y conozcan al personal de MLK antes del primer día de clases.

Si no puede asistir el sábado 15 de agosto, la Secundaria MLK repetirá la Orientación para Estudiantes Nuevos para todos los alumnos nuevos y sus familias el primer día de clases. Los alumnos y sus padres/tutores deben presentarse en la cafetería a las 9:30 a. m. del 17 de agosto para la asamblea, que finalizará a las 10:30 a. m.
