Meet our Athletic Director: Danielle Anderson
For 35 years, Danielle has shared her love and passion for movement, fitness and sports by teaching physical education to students at Francisco. In 2015, she received the Gloria Siech Physical Education Award for commitment and excellence in quality physical education instruction and leadership and was nominated for Bay Area Teacher of the Year in 2020. Eligibility
Students must complete a pre-participation physical exam, a voluntary (parent) consent form, a concussion information sheet, a sudden cardiac information sheet, an anti-steroid agreement, heat illness information sheet, and opioid fact sheet.
A student must have a 2.0 Grade Point Average at the conclusion of the report card period preceding the report card period in which the student seeks to participate in interscholastic athletics.
Code of Conduct
Participation in school sports programs is a privilege, not a right. To earn that privilege, student-athletes must abide by the rules and they must conduct themselves, on and off the field, as positive role models who exemplify good character. If academic/behavior expectations are not met, an athlete may be taken off a team by the Principal and Athletic Director.
