The mission of the Burton Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is to support our students by facilitating better partnering, communication and collaboration between parents, teachers, students and administrators.

Support your child's education at Burton by:
1) Joining the PTSA
2) Signing up for the PTSA email group
3) Attending a PTSA meeting. All are welcome! 

PTSA meetings take place on the second Thursday of the month during the school year from 5:30 – 6:45pm on: September 9th, October 14th, November 18th, January 13th, February 10th, March 10th, April 14th, May 12th. Meeting reminders will be posted in the weekly Parent Puma Press email.

Puma Pride 2022 Silent Auction Success!

The PTSA is happy to report that the Puma Pride 2022 Silent Auction raised $4395.63 (after fees). The money raised will go toward teacher grants and AP test fee assistance.

Our sincere thanks go to:

1) The local businesses, students, teachers, families, and community members who solicited and / or donated auction items;

2) Everyone who bid and shared the auction link with their friends and family;

Become a Burton PTSA member!

You can now join or renew your Burton PTSA membership online. It's only $5 to join for the year (plus a $1 processing fee). By joining the PTSA you are supporting valuable programs and services for our students.

PTSA members can: elect the nominating committee, elect officers, approve/ratify all PTSA expenditures, adopt the budget and adopt the audit reports. A stronger membership means stronger advocacy for our students. We need you! 

Membership is open to all parents and guardians, students, teachers and staff. If the membership dues are a financial hardship, we have scholarships available.  Please email us at No questions asked.  If you prefer to pay by cash or check, fill out the membership form, available in English-Spanish or English-Chinese, and mail or drop it off at the Main Office.
