SFUSD Sexual Harassment and Gender Discrimination (Title IX) Resources and Information

San Francisco Unified School District schools, programs, activities, and practices shall be free from unlawful discrimination, including discriminatory harassment, intimidation, and bullying targeted at any student by anyone, based on the student's actual or perceived sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or gender expression.

SFUSD's Sexual Harassment and Gender Discrimination webpage has more information about Title IX, definitions of harassment and discrimination, student rights, and resources.

If you have questions, would like to report an incident, or would like support, reach out to the Burton Title IX Coordinators:

Wade King-Gallman, Wellness Coordinator: king-gallmanw@sfusd.edu or (628) 900-3163.

Suniqua Thomas, Principal: thomass@sfusd.edu

Complaints to school sites can be made in writing or verbally.  If the individual feels uncomfortable, the complaint may be filed with the Title IX Coordinator/Director of the Office of Equity. There is a Title IX online report form that can be used to report sexual harassment and/or gender based discrimination.
