Dear SFUSD Staff:
We know you have lots of questions about the next school year. Keep reading for more information on how to participate in SFUSD’s upcoming series of virtual town hall meetings.
Join Us for a Virtual Town Hall
Next week, SFUSD will be hosting town hall meetings on SFUSD’s YouTube Live channel where we’ll discuss our process for planning for fall learning.
We want to hear your suggestions and questions about school next fall, and we’ll share brief updates on our planning process and public health guidance for schools. The Department of Public Health will also join us at the town halls to provide additional context and information. You only need a device that connects to the internet to join the meeting.
Below are the dates and times for town halls specifically for staff:
- July 6, 3:00 - 4:30 PM: SFUSD Teacher and Paraeducator Town Hall
- July 7, 11:00 AM - 12:30PM: SFUSD Staff Town Hall
We encourage you to share your questions in advance of the town halls by using SFUSD’s ThoughtExchange. ThoughtExchange does not capture any personal information, and does not record anyone’s voice or image. Participants simply type and send their ideas - it’s a lot like sending a text or posting a comment on social media. Then you can see the questions and ideas that other participants are sharing.

Schools Meals Weekly Update
Week 14 Report: June 15-19: During the week of June 15th SNS distributed 127,620 meals, bringing the total number served since March to over 1.7 million meals.
Talk about a productive summer activity! An Aptos Middle School student was featured on ABC7 News this week for using one of SFUSD's 3D printers to create parts for face shields and ear savers at home. Check out the story here.
