The CAC for their March monthly meeting on Thursday, March 26 on Golden Gate Regional Center Services has been postponed. We will send notice when it will be rescheduled.

Monthly automated Truancy letters were posted to Synergy on Friday, April 10, 2026. Families and schools can ensure that attendance data is correct and complete by following this guidance.

Originally posted on March 26: At the March 24 Board meeting, the Board of Education approved the revised Math Placement Policy, which includes offering Algebra I to eighth grade students. Beginning in the 2026-27 school year, Algebra I will be offered at ALL SFUSD middle and K-8 schools, providing students across the district with opportunities for rigorous math coursework.

Originally posted on March 26: At their meeting on Tuesday, March 24, the Board of Education approved a revision to the 2025-26 academic calendar. The updated calendar added five instructional days, moving the last day of school to June 10, 2026.

All TK-13 SFUSD schools will be closed March 27-April 3 for Spring Break, but all PK and School Age OST programs are open during Spring Break (except for March 31). SFUSD offices will remain open March 27-April 3.

PK and OST programs at Early Education and Elementary Schools that will open from March 27-April 3. Note: All sites will be closed on Tuesday, March 31.
