Originally posted on March 16: The National Weather Service is predicting warmer temperatures in San Francisco from Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 20, with a Moderate (Level 2) risk of heat-related impacts. SFUSD is taking extra steps to help keep students and staff safe and comfortable during this time.

Reach & Rise is a mentoring and youth development program run by YMCA of San Francisco as part of its Urban Services initiatives. The program supports youth who may be experiencing challenges such as family stress, school difficulties, social isolation, or exposure to community violence. Learn how to become a mentor and/or how to register a youth for the program.

AAPI Youth Change Maker Awards will be presented to an AAPI middle school student and an AAPI high school or college student in recognition of their distinct impact in the San Francisco AAPI community through voluntary service or projects. Deadline for Nominations is Friday, March 27, 2026.
