Announcement Message
We are excited to invite our arts partners, educators, and community members to participate in an upcoming feedback session on the draft Arts & Creativity: 2030 plan for the San Francisco Unified School District.
This plan is intended to guide the future of arts education across SFUSD through the remainder of this decade. It reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that every student has access to high-quality, culturally responsive arts learning experiences across dance, media arts, music, theater, and visual art. As we move toward finalizing this plan before the start of the next school year, we are seeking meaningful input from those who help bring this work to life every day.
These sessions will provide an overview of the current draft, including key focus areas and proposed commitments, followed by opportunities for participants to share feedback, ask questions, and help shape the direction of the plan. We are especially interested in hearing perspectives on what feels strong, what needs further clarity, and what opportunities we may be missing.
We encourage participation from teaching artists, arts organizations, school leaders, classroom educators, students, families, and community members. Your voice is essential in ensuring that this plan reflects the needs, strengths, and aspirations of the communities we serve.
Session Details:
- Tuesday, April 28, 4:00-5:15pm
- Wednesday, April 29, 4:00-5:15pm
- Tuesday, May 5, 4:00-5:15pm
Please RSVP via this form, and we will send you a calendar invite with all relevant information.
We hope you will join us in this important process. Together, we can shape a plan that sustains and strengthens arts education for all SFUSD students.
